Drug Offenses/Drug Trafficking

Have you been charged with a drug offense in Florida? I have represented hundreds of clients who have been charged with multiple offenses ranging from simple possession of misdemeanor marijuana to trafficking of cocaine, oxycodone, vicodin, heroin, ecstasy, and all other drugs. Early in my career I worked with confidential informants while trying cases as a young prosecutor in the State Attorney's office.   As a result, I have a unique understanding of how to turn the informant’s misconduct and often-questionable deals against them when they take the stand.

I have practiced drug defense in the Tampa Bay area for nearly 30 years. I am a ruthless defender of all people's rights and am well versed in law enforcement protocol. Because law enforcement is faced with the huge challenge of fighting drug crime, often mistakes are made that lead to baseless warrants and arrests clouded by 4th Amendment constitutional issues. Know that your case is not hopeless and there could be defenses available to you.

Sentences for drug charges are controlled by mandatory minimums. If you are convicted of a drug crime, the likelihood of serving prison time is great because judges are unable to go outside these guidelines. If you have been arrested in Florida for any drug offense, then you should hire me, an experienced and seasoned criminal defense attorney.

Florida's drug trafficking laws are extremely harsh. 20 Oxys could be 3 or even 15 years minimum mandatory, depending on their weight. Possession of 4-14 grams of Oxy gets you 3 years minimum mandatory; over 14 grams up to one ounce (28 grams) is 15 years minimum mandatory. Don't despair! I am here save your butt. One word of warning, all dealers of drugs are eventually caught. They then work with the police setting up every friend they know to work their way out of the minimum mandatory, providing substantial assistance as Junior G Men. They don't care, they will badger you to buy either from them or the undercover officer they introduce you to. They'll tell you the cop is "cool". Be careful who you deal with.
